Continuing the project iniciated in 2004, during the I Simpósio Nacional de Literatura e Informática [I National Symposium of Literature and Computer science], the Núcleo de Pesquisa em Informática, Literatura e Lingüística [Research Group in Computer science, Literature and Linguistics] (NUPILL) of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), starting in January 2006, assumed the editorial responsibility of the Revista Texto Digital [Digital Text Journal]. This fact explains the two year interval between the first issue and the subsequente publications.
Solely available in electronic format, Revista Texto Digital has the proposal of being a permanently 'on line' territory, focused on promoting discussions and reflections concerning Literature in the digital medium. Texto Digital also brings forth in its content digital creations by various authors and reserchers, periodcly invited by the editors.
In consequence, it would be improper to attempt a delimitation of the target public from which to trace the profile of our authors and readers, for we believe that the text in the digital universe and its implications of writing and reading are interdisciplinary subjects. Therefore, all interested in digital text are invited to explore this space, which will bring new publications every six months, or more precisely, in July and December. The texts here available may be saved and/or printed without any type of restriction.
In each new number a special editorial shall be displayed in the READER.
The content of the articles available in Texto Digital are evaluated by our Editorial Council displayed in the EDITORS.
The authors interested in publishing in Texto Digital should consult the requirements displayed in PUBLICATION.
